Not a Baby Anymore!

Well, it's official. I now have a kindergartener!!!! I can't decide if I am upset that it makes me older, or that my baby is about to be a full time student. ha-ha I am soooo not a sap when it comes to being sentimental, but my gosh....my BABY will be in school in a matter of days! That's insane! Faith has grown up to be such a big girl. I am so proud of her because she is so loving, caring, thoughful and full of life. God has given me such a blessing!! I think back to the day I found out I was pregnant with her.... I cried my eyes out for days because I just wasn't sure I was ready for all that parenthood had to offer! But the last 5 and a half years have been the best years of my life! Faith has brought so much joy, laughter and smiles to our lives. I'm so glad God chose ME to be her mother! She's so wonderful and I wouldn't tade her for all the $$ in the world.....well, maybe some days I would....haha. Here are some pics of Faith at her preschool graduation, and a few videos! Little Beach Bums

Our Sunday School class had a day at the beach last week! It was our first trip to the beach this season, and I was worried about how Brooke would do this year. Last year she had several mouthfuls of sand and it was such a hassle to take her....BUT this year was a different story! She loved it!!!! We stayed for 4 hours and when it was time to leave Faith nor Brooke was ready to leave. Looks like we will be making more beach trips this summer!!

Faith found a beautiful starfish on the beach, alive!! We brought him home (after we explained to Faith it would die if it came home with us). The next day Faith and Ryan bleached it and put it out in the sun to dry...in the backyard...where the dogs are......and Tucker, our dachshund ATE him. We were all just devastated!! But Faith got over it, and now we HAVE to go back to the beach to find another starfish!

Long Time No Talk....

Okay, so it's been like 10 months since I last blogged. I see so many people who enjoy blogging, and to be honet, I just don't have the time to sit down and "blog"......one the laundry is done, kids are fed, bathed, put to bed, house cleaned, kitchen mopped, sewing worked on, etc...the last thing I want to do is blog. And let's face it, how many people really want to read a "blog"? But, for the sake of my loving family that all live miles and miles away, I want to try to keep this up so they can see what they are missing over here in Chalreston! I hate knowing that my 2 precious girls go about 360 days a year without seeing some of their relatives.....it's just not fair, for them or for the family members that are so far away. Sooo.....here is my attempt to keep in touch with far away grandparents and uncles and aunts and close friends by "blogging" and sending cute little videos of my growing girls.
